What Astrology Reveals
Every person was born with an owner’s manual - a map called the birthchart. With this map we can discover how to find happiness and fulfillment, how we tend to operate in every area of life, the potentials we can develop, and the territory we will explore in this adventure called our life. The birthchart is a snapshot of the planetary alignments at our moment of birth as seen from our place of birth.

Every planet in our birthchart represents a different aspect of our personality. As no two birthcharts are alike, we discover through astrology how each person is unique, with individual talents, personality traits, destinies, and life purposes.

Through our birthchart we can understand how to meet someone for a love relationship, what careers would be fulfilling for us, the talents we have, the best ways to make money, what style of relationship brings fulfillment for us, and the issues we have chosen to tackle in this life for our spiritual development. The birthchart reveals not only how we operate, but our most natural ways to grow and evolve in our lifetime.

We have the free will to stay stuck in the patterns we were born into, or to realize our potential. Our soul colludes with the universe to prod us into developing this potential. The current movement of the planets through our birthchart, called transits, reveal how we are presently being encouraged to grow. Patterns that were laid down in childhood, combined with societal voices, will conspire to keep us stuck and safe.

Usually we will attempt to avoid our pain, and often we believe that experiencing pain means that we have messed up in our lives. Through the birthchart we can understand why the pain is there, how to relieve the pain, when it will be over, the benefits at the end of the tunnel, and how to understand our experience so we don’t judge ourselves for it.

When we understand how our soul is in charge of our situation, we can partner with it and eventually trust in the goodness of life even though our current situation feels bad.
